Surprisingly, the Galaxy S8 has been bombarded by several complaints early on in its debut.
One other factor regarding the Note 8 happens to be a feature directly from the iPhone 7 Plus.
On the I/O daughterboard, iFixit notes a considerable amount of ingress proofing, earning the phone its IP68 score, and also commends Samsung for the S8's modular headphone jack, which allows for easy replacement.
An official from the industry said, "The Galaxy Note7 also had the red screen issue a year ago, and this is largely due to the characteristics of Super AMOLED displays".
Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus will be powered by Samsung's very own Exynos 8895 (2.35GHz Quad+1.9GHz Quad) processor.
After months of waiting the Samsung Galaxy S8 will finally land in shops next week.
"These devices will offer our consumers a gateway to a new mobile life where the power of innovation will carry them beyond barriers", Asim Warsi, Senior Vice President, Mobile Business, Samsung India, told reporters here.
It has some uncommon dimensions, though: it has an 18.5:9 aspect ratio, which means it's taller than usual in the hand, but that helps keep the Galaxy S8 from feeling massive.
The headline number is welcome news for Samsung. You can be delighted about some exciting features that will come along with these smartphone models. We want betterdisplays, more powerful processors, bigger batteries, and of course better cameras. The Galaxy Note7, which also had an AMOLED screen, was subject to similar feedback from consumers when it was released in September previous year. Samsung's new flagship phones are also the first smartphones in the world to support Bluetooth 5.0. The camera lens is also made up of glass and the interesting thing to note here is that the LED flash is also tucked beneath this layer so you can forget about leaving a mark with keys, coins, and razor blades.
Specifically, the iPhone 7 Plus, Xiaomi Mi 6, LG G6, and Huawei P10 all boast two rear cameras, and the list goes on. Among these three phones, I think it's impossible to name a clear victor. So we have to take this with a grain of salt, but the Korean company did file a patent for a thinner dual-camera system.
"The Galaxy S8 was built with an adaptive display that optimizes the color range, saturation, and sharpness depending on the environment". I am thoroughly impressed. Samsung is calling it as the "Infinity Display".
