Consumers looking for big gadget announcements out of the conference, however, may have been disappointed.

Google's autofill feature on Android is enhanced to work across the Android system instead of just being limited to Google Chrome.

The question remains though as to whether these features will be enough to eat into a market that is arguably controlled by Alexa.
